Photography in Jerusalem – in memory of Tsadok Bassan
Hadassah College Jerusalem and the educational website Snunit have collaborated to reveal the rich photographic heritage of Jerusalem . This website gallery is a visual documentation of Jerusalem in the first half of the 20th century, the period of the photographer Tsadok Bassan and his peers . The gallery presents the artistic and documentary contribution of these photographers to the commemoration of the history of Jerusalem. More will be added to the gallery which currently is in its first stages. The project is directed by Yossi Nahmias, a lecturer in the Photographic Communications department at Hadassah College.
