Hadassah Academic College is as much a community as an institution of higher learning … a learning community of faculty, staff, and students, supported by committed friends from Israel and around the world who recognize the vital role played by the College in the life of Jerusalem and Israel.
Established in 1970 by the Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization of America, Hadassah Academic College is today a fully accredited career-focused institution of higher learning dedicated to training students in key professions. Located within minutes walking from Jerusalem's historic Old City, City Hall, and the downtown commercial and tourist core, Hadassah Academic College attracts motivated students from all parts of Israel who choose the College in recognition of our high level of instruction, variety of innovative undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and personal attention provided by a caring faculty and staff.
Our College's student body is a reflection of contemporary Israel including secular, traditional, and religious Jews, new immigrants from all parts of the world, and minorities. Students learn about and from each other in an atmosphere of mutual respect and tolerance as they acquire the knowledge and skills for their future careers.
As the only institution of higher learning located in the heart of downtown Jerusalem, Hadassah Academic College plays a strategic role in revitalizing the city's core.
