Orientation Week

The purpose of Orientation Week is to offer first year students an opportunity to learn about Hadassah College, its unique social-educational approach, the departments, and studies on campus. This includes an extensive tour of the campus and the area surrounding the campus, meeting key staff members such as the President, the Head of Academic Administration, the Dean of Students and Head of the Student Authority. Our educational approach is presented by the President of Hadassah College and heads of the departments, while special emphasis is on student involvement in community projects such as Perach or assistance for students with special needs. During the week, workshops will take place in each department so that new students can get to know each other while learning about their majors from a universal point of view which emphasizes the future of each profession. Professionals will explain the options and careers available. In addition, students receive refresher courses in basics such as PC use, learning in a computerized environment, and IRC skills. Some departments offer learning strategies and time management workshops. During this week an effort is made to determine whether students are in need of financial assistance in order to ensure that they receive it as early as possible.
