Dean's Address - Dr. Arieh Yakir
Academic studies demand concentration, discipline and diligence as well as financial and physical resources. We appreciate these efforts and difficulties. I would like to promise you, in my name and in the name of my colleagues, that we will do our best to help overcome the difficulties.
We believe that tolerance, support, and personal guidance are the keys to helping each of you. Please don't hesitate to ask us for assistance should you need it.
Good instructors, excellent lectures, and great talents are important factors, but they alone are not enough: working methodically and preparing your assignments and projects over time, and not only before exams, are immeasurably imperative to your success.
I call on you to invest your time, energy, and talents in the social activities initiated by Hadassah College. We cannot change the world, but each of us can change and improve his environment. Contribute to this effort and join the social involvement programs here at Hadassah College.
Best wishes,
Dr. Arieh Yakir
