Henrietta Szold Challenge Center
Director - Rivka Shaul
The Henrietta Szold Challenge Center helps students with learning disabilities realize their potential. Hadassah College's acknowledgment of equal opportunities for all persons and its obligation to provide these opportunities resulted in the establishment of the Center.
The Center offers the following services to:
Students with physical or medical challenges
Students will be eligible for such status* if they produce the following:
| 1. |
Medical documents from a specialist in the field (i.e., orthopedic problems demand documents from an orthopedist). |
| 2. |
Updated documents, excluding documentation pertaining to chronic problems (these do not necessitate a recent document, as long as the existing document states that the problem is stable, chronic, and static). |
| 3. |
A letter stating effects of the illness or challenge on the students' studies.
|
Documents should be handed in as early as possible, and by the first month of the first semester at the latest.
