Speech and Language Clinic Clinic Director: Nicole Freedman, M.A. The Clinic performs assessments of language and speech disorders from infancy through adulthood. The five therapy rooms are well equipped with state-of-the-art therapy materials for assessment and treatment. The clinic is affiliated with The Friends of the Jerusalem Child Development Center. Assessment and therapy are performed by a staff of skilled and experienced therapists trained to treat a wide range of speech and language disorders. Students at the Department of Communication Disorders are supervised by the staff. Adler Aphasia Center A center for people with aphasia resulting in a language disorder Director: Dafna Olenik The goal of the center is to help people with aphasia improve communication and language function in order to live comfortably in today's world. The center is the first international branch of the Adler Aphasia Center in New Jersey. Activities at the center are base on a holistic approach with advanced treatment techniques emphasizing meaningful activities and involvement according to one's ability. At the center, we offer support, care and encouragement to people with aphasia, their caregivers, family and friends.
