Counseling and Assistance
College Counselor - Sara Applebaum
Every student may receive assistance from the college's counseling services. These services are meant to look after the well being of our students. Complete secrecy is assured, and all information, including students' identity, is kept confidential.
Services include:
1. Guidance for students coping with financial, social, or personal distress.
2. Mediation for those encountering difficulties within their academic framework.
3. Granting of various scholarships, dependent upon certain socio-economic criteria.
4. Loans from the Schwartz Fund (no interest, not linked to the dollar).
5. Loans form the Magbit Foundation
Students in need of long-term assistance may receive it from the Hebrew University's counseling services for a fee (65 NIS per hour). Students requesting this service must receive a referral from Hadassah College counseling services.
