About Program

Director: Ofra Rotem

In today's competitive world the importance of obtaining a higher education is increasing at a critical rate. We at Hadassah College believe that it is part of our mission to facilitate young people in acquiring that education. Achieving one's goals demands the right preparation. To aid in this preparation we have established pre-academic (Mechina) programs for those interested in completing their matriculation exams or improving their grades. The program functions as a starting platform, opening the doors to academic studies in all Israeli institutions of higher education.

For various reasons, young people may not have full matriculation certification or their grades might not meet the standards that enable them to continue to academic studies. At Hadassah College we recognize that many people often need a second opportunity to enter the academic world and so, we offer this supportive learning environment, designed to help students gradually make the transition into the academic world.

Hadassah College counseling and guidance services assist students in developing learning and time management skills. These services include personal counseling, workshops, assistance in coping with stress and exam phobia and tools for students with learning disabilities. Furthermore, students enrolled in various academic departments offer pre-academic students tutorials and guidance as dictated by their needs. Our office doors are always open and we aim to provide each student with personal attention.
