| Q: |
Is it possible to finance studies from the army discharge payment? |
| A: |
Yes, but before making the decision to use that money, note that all applications are also an application form for a scholarship. In the beginning of the school year there is a committee from the Association for the Advancement of Education and the Ministry of Defense. Scholarships are given based on socio-economic status. The College does not collect any payment until after this committee has adjourned. If one is eligible for the scholarship there is no need to use the discharge money; if the student is not eligible, he or she can use the discharge money to pay for partial or full tuition.

| Q: |
Will I be able to work while studying in the pre-academic program? |
| A: |
Each student studies in an individual program and it may be that the student only has a few exams to complete and the schedule allows him/her to work a few times a week. If one has a heavy class load he/she will be unable to work. It is important to remember two things:
- For every hour of frontal classes there is at least a half hour to one and a half hours of homework to enable one to succeed at the level of the matriculation exam.
- Studies in the pre-academic program are a second chance that will probably not occur again. It is to the advantage of the student to invest the greatest effort possible to succeed.

| Q: |
Do you assist students with learning disabilities? |
| A: |
From past experience we know that many of the pre-academic students have learning disabilities, some diagnosed and others have gone undiagnosed. Our classes are small and the teachers are in tune with each students’ needs. Students who have been diagnosed are counseled and arrangements regarding exams are made. Students who have been targeted for possible learning disabilities are refereed for a diagnosis. The Ministry of Defense aids eligible students financially with this fee. |
