     New Exhibit in Photography Gallery – "Yofi-Dofi" Shani Nahmias
Shani Nahmias, graduate of Hadassah College Jerusalem’s Department of Photography and of the Sorbonne in Paris.

In the series entitled Yofi-Dofi ("Defected Beauty") Shani Nahmias' attempt is to reformulate the concept of beauty and perfection, in contrast with seaminess and impediment, believing that those concepts are strongly intertwined, to the point where they become indistinct.

The exhibition will be displayed in the gallery at Hadassah College Jerusalem.

     New Apple iMac Lab
A new computer lab designed specifically for students studying Photographic Communications and Inclusive Industrial Design opened at the College. The lab is equipped with 41 Apple iMac 21.5" computers and will aid in new fields of study including 3D, video, development of applications for iphone and more. Podcast Producer will available in the laboratory for student use. Additionally, the lab was designed using energy saving qualifications and environmentally friendly resources.

     Wastewater Disinfection Seminar
On March 2, 2010 as part of Hadassah Academic College’s Green Campus program The Department of Health Sciences in collaboration with the Israel Water Association sponsored a seminar entitled:

Wastewater Disinfection: Innovations, State-of-the-Art, and Implementation for Water Reuse in Israel.

The seminar was organized by Professor Ronald Gehr visiting professor from McGill University, Canada.

Seventy researchers and professionals from academia and from governmental offices as well as students, and faculty members attended the seminar.

The lectures focused on various issues and initiatives related to the subject including policy regarding water waste management, current and future methods for water waste treatment, microbial quality of treated water waste and the use of ultra violet light for water waste treatment and use in agriculture.

The seminar closed with a panel of experts on the subject of the integration of new and existing technologies for wastewater disinfection strategies for water reuse in Israel.

     The New Milton Gottesman Bridge unifies the Campus of HCJ
At the onset of the school year the Milton Gottesman Bridge to Education over Havaztelet Street was officially opened at Hadassah College Jerusalem. The Bridge unifies the college campus, connecting the Esther Gottesman Center for Technology which houses the newly renovated state-of the-art Information Resource Center to the main campus.

     Psychodrama Courses
Hadassah College is opening courses for specific groups using psychodrama. Groups are experiential, exciting, and even sometimes humorous providing an opportunity to each and every participant to express his story and feelings. Active participation, with the use of psychodrama tools, various creative methods, attention and sensitivity is created in a pleasant environment. The course given by Rachel Meyer who has a degree in psychodrama will be geared towards four different groups; Second Generation of Holocaust Survivors, The Next Chapter- People before Retirement or a Life Change, Who will Care for of the Caretakers, Towards Parenthood-Couples Undergoing Fertility Treatments.

     AcademiCity- Academic institutions in Jerusalem
Hadassah College is participating in the new initiative implemented by The Jerusalem Development Authority, collaboration between academic institutions in Jerusalem that will benefit the students who study in Jerusalem. Already, students are taking advantage of this program and taking courses with institutions that are part of the intiative.
