Health and Life Sciences
This pre-academic program is designed specifically for those students who do not have a matriculation certificate or their grade level does not enable them to be accepted to life and science programs at Hadassah College. The goal of the program is to assist students to bridge the gap between high school and college, while developing the scientific thought processes. The track focuses on the following subjects: mathematics, English, science-related subjects as well as general learning strategies. At the conclusion of the academic year, students take both internal exams and external matriculation exams in mathematics, chemistry/biology and English. Students will gain the required level in order to be accepted to the following programs: Computer Science, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Optometry, Biotechnology, Communication Disorders and Environmental Health Sciences.
Main Fields of Study
Mathematics: 4-5 point matriculation level
English: 4-5 point matriculation level
Chemistry: 3-5 point matriculation level
Biology: 3 point matriculation level
Scientific writing
Student will be offered the opportunity to study a psychometric course at the College
Terms of Acceptance
Minimum score of 450 on MEIMAD exam or equivalence on psychometric exams.
Duration of Studies
One academic year (two semesters). Studies are intensive, and students are enrolled full-time with classes five days a week.
