“Alternative Spaces” - Cultural Events in Abandoned Houses   i

Design and Production: Adi Cohen

While walking in Jerusalem, one often glances at abandoned houses - destroyed and desolate ruins that are like bodies without a soul. These ruins, whose beauty is nevertheless discernable, may be used as alternative spaces, hosting various artistic events.

The project “Alternative Spaces” expresses the atmosphere of an abandoned place through artistic techniques of drawing and etchings. The result expresses a courageous protest that is familiar to street language and may interest and draw audiences to attend cultural events.

"Hop Hop Tralala" Party Products   i

Design and Production: Hadar Kapach

Everyone remembers the excitement surrounding his or her birthday party. One waits an entire year, preparing for two whole months and in an instant it's over. And the cycle continues…

'Hop, Hop Tralala' offers an abundance of products for independent party organizing from invitations, through decorations, activities and surprises. The company catalog is accompanied with the story of a child on a voyage of dreams and experiences on his way to a birthday party where he presents the many products that were also designed for this project.

“Breeze” - Ecology Festival   i

Design and Production: Anat Ivgi

Environmental topics and their importance are already part of our daily agenda, but addressing the public is still done in a critical, reproachful or patronizing manner.

This project, “Breeze Festival” is suggesting a new and refreshing return to a love of nature where one can learn and understand the most burning issues concerning ecology. Graphic design is based on the four basic elements of nature: earth, wind, water and fire – all receiving an adaptation of vibrant and lively colors.

'Taglit'   i

Design and Production: Nadav Schwartz

The program 'Taglit' (Discovery) brings thousands of young Jewish people from all over the world to Israel every year for 10 days. It is an opportunity to expose them to the cultural heritage of the people of Israel, the homeland and to awaken their pride and sense of belonging.

This project is unique as it suggests employing up-to-date technology of variable data in digital printing; in order to make the printing of a personal diary possible for each participant. The diary includes the name and picture of each participant as well as the dates and itinerary of his/her trip. The design is inspired by the 'Israeli sabras': prickly and sharp on the outside and sweet inside.

Campaign to Encourage the use of Recyclable Bags   i

Design and Production: Inbal Yaffe

Israelis are addicted to plastic bags. Five billion bags a year are used by consumers and are thrown away after 12 minutes of use. They are scattered, they make dirt, and they do not disintegrate. In other countries people use recyclable cloth bags and now is the time to make this change in Israel as well.

This project approaches a public that is well aware of the subject of protecting the environment and is ready for a change of habits. The concept was introduced from a positive point of view, emphasizing the connection between man and nature, when faced with discouraging statistics.

“Dinner Party” - A Kit Designed to Encourage Family Togetherness   i

Design and Production: Hanna Amiram

A family dinner is a wonderful opportunity for the family to meet after a busy day, to eat together, talk and make plans for the next day. This is essential for strengthening relationships and forming a strong bond amongst family members.

This project, “Dinner Party” offers a set of objects that encourage the cooperation of family members: cooking, setting the table, learning table manners and holding a conversation. One can observe this theme in the set of placemats that are illustrated with a family of bears, or a family of frogs, instructing how to set the cutlery on the table.
